The Americans With Disabilities Amendments Act of 2008, or ADAAA, became effective Jan. 1, and represents significant strengthening of the protections afforded under the Americans with Disabilities Act, or ADA.
A decision from the Court of Chancery late last month settled the question, in the context of advancement rights of whether the final disposition of a case means the ultimate non-appealable result, or can refer to an earlier stage, such as a conviction after trial.
